Lessons from Kung Fu Panda

I finally got around to watch Kung Fu Panda! And I love it so much! :D

Besides Po the Panda’s hilarious act, these quotes managed to get into my head hehe. Crite walaupun klakar bole tahan chim beb!

“One often meets his destiny on the road he takes to avoid it.” – Master Oogway

“The mind is like water. When it is agitated it becomes difficult to see. But when you let it settle, the answer becomes clear.” – Master Oogway.

“The mark of a true hero is humility.” – Shifu

“To make something special you just have to believe that it is special.” – Po’s noodle business owner Dad who sells “Special Noodles” as one of the menu

“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift, that’s why it is called the present.” – Master Oogway

“There are no accidents.” – Master Oogway

And some of the lessons I personally thought were valuable:

Find your motivation: Po’s motivation is food. He’s motivated by the fact that Shifu would reward him with Dimsum so he fights hard to get it. Different people have different motivation; promotion, recognition, sense of fulfilment, power etc.. What’s your motivation?

If you don’t know, admit it: There was one scene where Shifu asked Master Oogway for an answer and Oogway said. “I don’t know.” even though he’s the wisest among them and supposed to be the one with all the answers. When he didn’t know, he simply said he didn’t know. He didn’t pretend to know and lie.

Anyway this morning while waiting for the bus, I caught the sight of a Muslim elderly couple (the makcik wear tudung) walking side by side, holding hands, wearing sporty attire and running shoes. Baru balik jogging together2 la tuuu gaknye. Best seh. Gaya Hidup Sihat sampai bila-bila bersama-sama! ^_^

(If i was using my sony ericsson phone i would have taken their picture hehe altho that would be violating their rights =P)

So sweet kan. =)))
